For fun and gratifcation, Paper Dolls quilt is the answer. This pattern had far more rewards than challenges. The biggest hurdle was to find all of the correct fabric. After several months of searching, I had all of that was needed from the designer. I have such happy memories of playing with real paper dolls and thought our 6 year old granddaughter would have something to play with at quiet times. I never realized she would take it with her when going to visit her grandparents. The pattern looked daunting but taking time to read through the directions several times and careful measuring of the dolls made the quilt easy and the results most satisfying. "Grampy" even helped by cutting out the doll clothes. Great directions and correct fabric made for one happy little girl. Be warned of one possible problem. When her mommy wanted to play with the quilt, our granddaughter insisted that Mommy ask the dolls if they wanted to wear each outfit. The answer(per Granddaughter) wasn't always yes!
